I'm impressed with the recording's sound given that the mics were the ones built into the recorder. Luckly the sound at the Catalyst this night was pretty good and the recording reflects that as well. I'll give a 4 star rating for now as the sound is a bit thin...better than boomy that's for sure. Update: I've listened to this show again. Must have been the speakers or the ears I was using. The sound is full bodied. I'm boosting my rating to 5 stars! The show was great. Very loose with a great crowd and vibe through out. I'm still listening to the recording. So far it compares well with my experience at the show.
